Operation Christmas Child
Samaritan’s Purse sends gift-filled Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes to children in need around the world together with the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. National Collection Week takes place every year during the third week of November. Arizona Community Church is one of apx. 4,500 drop-off locations collecting shoe boxes from the community across the country. We collected 1787 shoe boxes last year!
We’re Starting Collecting Now
You can drop off items in the collection bins located in the lobby of the Worship Center or Venue, and in the main office, during the month of June.
See our Amazon wish list and even have the items ship straight to ACC!
Our Summer Packing Party
Getting Ready For The Fall
We are a community drop off site for Operation Christmas Child and need volunteers needed to help collect shoeboxes from our community.
You can pick up a shoe box to fill beginning Saturday, October 30th at all church services and in the front office. Return filled shoe boxes during any church service or on one of the dates/times listed above.
There are many ways to plug in with us- This summer you can donate supplies to pack shoeboxes or help us pack shoe boxes. In November you can pack a shoe box or cover a shift during collection week in November.
Besides being a national collection site for our community, our congregation also packs shoe boxes for children. Last year ACC packed 536 shoe boxes! We packed 107 of those during our summer packing party, and also had 7 shoe boxes packed through Samaritan Purse's online shoe box packing website (link below). Our goals for our congregation are to pack 200 shoeboxes for boys this July and 700 shoeboxes by the end of collection week! Please join us as we pack shoeboxes to bless children around the world with fun and useful gifts, as well as the Gospel of Jesus.
Shoebox gifts built online go to the ends of the earth to children in some of the hardest-to-reach places—whether deep jungles, city slums, steep mountainsides, or one of more than 1,000 remote Pacific islands. Many of these areas are resistant to the Gospel, for cultural or religious reasons, and are home to some people who have never heard the Name of Jesus Christ.
