The Basinger Investment Group and Arizona Community Church will be hosting FBI Agent Troy Cofer, from the Phoenix field office and discussing the latest fraud, phishing, and elder scams. This will include what to look for, how to protect your-self, and where to report if you believe you have been a victim. Unfortunately, ARIZONA ranks 1st in the U.S. for the highest proportion of fraud victims over 60 and according to the FBI, in 2024 older Americans lost nearly $5 billion from fraudulent scams.
